Set underneath an existing grand oak tree, this design addressed the level changes required whilst enhancing connection to the home for improved use. With entertaining as a focus, the inclusion of a well-appointed outdoor pavilion plays a key role as the heart of the backyard. A generous outdoor kitchen accompanies the dining space whilst ceiling heaters assist in extended use in the seasons. A detailed firepit space with inviting furniture adds a great breakout area for all weather use. The fully tiled swimming pool with adjoining spa is positioned to connect directly with these entertaining areas and is surrounded with natural stone cladding and dark tones, helping to create a feeling of warmth and connection to the architecture, whilst pockets of plants add softness and blend the individual spaces.
