Containing just lawn and a clothes line, the area between the back of the home and the garage on this inner city property was missing any form of functionality. Being a big family who loved to get together over a meal the brief was to provide a space that connected the back of the home to an outdoor entertaining space. A large pavilion was designed to be in keeping with the retro style of the home and included a BBQ, full outdoor kitchen and pizza oven. The back of the home was also opened up through the installation of large stack-sliding doors opening up to new wide inviting granite steps.
